Project Description

ROS was contracted by ISP to install approximately 8,600 linear feet (148,000 square feet) of Waterloo Barrier steel sheet piles with sealed joints to form a vertical barrier to migration of contaminated groundwater. ROS self-performed the sheet pile installation work by using a MO VAX Side-grip Vibratory Sheet Pile Driver mounted on a CAT 300 excavator. Alongside the sheet pile barrier, URS installed a groundwater collection trench system using a combination of sloped open-cut and trench box excavation. All work was completed without an OSHA recordable incident.
